Your Apartment
Bed linen is provided in all apartments. Please remember to bring:
Your own towels
Cleaning products
Tea towels

Your transfer meeting point and rep contact details will be emailed to the Party Leader.
Please make sure everyone in your group who is booked on the transfer has this information before they travel.

Modane is the closest station to Val Cenis.
From there you have two options:
- Take the bus. Tickets available on the Altibus website.
- We can arrange a taxi in advance. Just let us know.

Legal requirement for drivers
You must have snow tyres fitted or carry chains or snowsocks when driving in the Savoie between 1
November and 1 May. This is a legal requirement.
The weekend weather forecast will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram on Thursday afternoon.
CHANGEOVER DAY
On arrival
Apartments are available from 4pm
Please come to the MGS Arrivals Office from 4pm. Press the button marked MGS SKI on the panel
beside the front door and someone will come to meet you.
If there are a lot of guests arriving at once, please bear with us. Once the initial rush is over,
everything moves much more quickly.
If you arrive before 4pm, grab a coffee on the piste front or head to the ski shop to collect your
equipment. Your names will already be on our list.
Our team will be in the ski shop helping with equipment fitting between 4.15pm and 7pm.
If you arrive after 7pm, equipment collection will need to wait until Sunday morning. The shop opens
at 8.30am.
Please send us a rough ETA once you have one. It really helps with planning on changeover day.

EATING OUT
Restaurant bookings
If you have pre-requested restaurant reservations, the details will be in your Client Summary in the
apartment. Please check the dates and times carefully as these may differ slightly from your original
request.
Please note
It is your responsibility to cancel or change any reservations. The telephone numbers are in your
Client Summary. Please give restaurants as much notice as possible.
INCLUDED IN YOUR HOLIDAY
Afternoon group ski
Our instructor-led group ski sessions run Monday to Friday. Meet at the top of the Vieux Moulin telecabine at 2pm on Monday.
Joining the off-piste group
Every member must carry an avalanche detector, a shovel, and a probe. Without all three, the
instructor cannot allow you to join the off-piste group. No exceptions.
Hiring off-piste equipment
Netski-Jeannot Sports have rucksacks available for hire at 12 euros per day including all three items.
Stock is limited so please let us know as soon as possible if you need one reserved. It is also worth
looking online before you travel as good deals are often available.
ON THE SLOPES
Ski lessons
If you requested lessons, MGS will have pre-booked these with the ESF. Please have your tickets with you on the first day, either printed or on your phone. If you booked on behalf of others, please forward their tickets before you travel.
Meeting point for lessons
The usual meeting point is on the main piste front in Lanslevillard, near the ESF main office. Please
check your lesson tickets to confirm the exact location.
STAYING CONNECTED
WiFi
Not all of our apartments have WiFi, and where it is available it can sometimes run slowly. If staying connected is important to you, we recommend ordering a WiFi dongle from hippocketwifi.com before you travel.
You can have it delivered to our office. Use the address below and let us know once you have placed the order.
