Today’s Conditions
It’s a crisp, bluebird morning in the Haute Maurienne after 20cm of fresh snow overnight. Skies will stay clear until early afternoon, when light cloud is expected to roll in from the west. something

Piste Report
Currently 58 of 62 runs are open, with 24 of 26 lifts running. Grooming teams worked through the night, so expect excellent corduroy on the reds above Le Col du Mont Cenis first thing. The Solert chair lift may close later in the day if summit winds pick up.
Avalanche Risk: 3 (Considerable)
Fresh snow and wind have created unstable slabs on north-facing slopes above 2,200m. Off-piste skiing is not recommended without a qualified guide.
The Week Ahead
- Sunday: Overcast, with light snow from midday. 5–10cm expected.
- Monday: Heavy snowfall overnight. Up to 30cm at altitude.
- Tuesday: Clearing skies and a powder day for early risers.
- Wednesday–Friday: High pressure settles in, bringing sunshine and cold temperatures.
Our Tip
Get up the mountain early on Tuesday for the best of the fresh snow, and don’t forget sun cream. The high-altitude sun is strong even on the coldest days.
